HINDU DHARMA -"HINDU" WORD
HINDU DHARMA -"HINDU" WORD The Translation During the golden age of Bharatha , even in the books written in the foreign lands used the word Hindu with utmost respect. The above mentioned point can be made clear by citing an example from an ancient Persian poem named Shatheera. This book was written more than thousand years before the arrival of prophet Mohammad . An extract from the book where it mentions the arrival of sage Vyasa , the word Hindu is used in a very holiest manner. " Aakum Birahmane vyasanam aajas Hind aamad vasanadi aakal chunanasth" Meaning:- A brahmin named Vyasa has reached from the holy land Hind. There is none as wise like him. "Chum Vyas hind balah aamad sathathap jradasth ravkhad" Meaning:- when Vysa of hindu land had arrived in the city of "Bhalakh" the king of Iran named "Sasthathap" came to welcome him along with Jathustah.( The persian religious leaders are called Jathustha) . As the time goes by the land of the followers of Sanathana Dharma are known by the term Hindu. Sanathana Dharma existed in Bharatha for thousands of years. At least around 2500 years before the time Sree Buddha. It is to be noted that Jesus Christ and Prophet came after the times of Buddha. After the emergence of the Christianity and Islam in the different parts of the world those regions have lost their respective traditions and cultures. In Bharatha even after the spread of Buddhism , she has kept her culture intact it is because of the following of the Sanathana Dharma by her people. Yes,Hindus got a religion - It is the ever lasting eternal Sanathana Dharma. Yes,Hindus got a creator - The omnipresent all prevading truth known as the " sat chit annada roopa" or the supreme being , which is at the eternal blissful state. Yes, Hindus got a holy book- The source of knowledge called Veda Yes,Hindus got a history -A history which is ancient than known to the present human race. Hinduism has got everything in her vault, there's nothing in it that other religion has got, because it is the Sanathana Dharma , the source of all religions , mother of all, universally following Dharma laid by the supreme being itself.
